Minimally Invasive Surgery

view xray

Our orthopaedic surgery team offers a wide range of minimally invasive surgical and nonsurgical treatment options for bone and joint diseases, and injuries. Elsewhere, many surgeries are still done traditionally, requiring long incisions and lengthy recoveries. Here, at Reconstructive Orthopaedics, the majority of surgeries are done through a few tiny cuts. Patients suffer much less pain and are back to their normal activities in a few days to weeks, depending on the surgery. With open surgery, recovery can take months to a year in some cases. With minimally invasive surgical techniques, the recovery time is greatly reduced and rehabilitation can begin immediately.

Orthopaedic Surgery

Orthopaedic surgery is concerned with diseases, injuries, and conditions of the musculoskeletal system, or the body's muscles and skeleton, and including the joints, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. The surgeons of Reconstructive Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Inc are experts or have a special interest in many of the fields of the orthopaedic subspecialties. Many of the new innovative, minimally invasive surgical techniques performed by our surgeons are listed below.
