Sports Medicine

We provide sports medicine for teens and adults at any level of ability, including professional athletes, school athletes, and individuals who exercise periodically. We can treat many sports-related injuries using minimally invasive techniques. We specialize in football, baseball, tennis, and soccer injuries. Catering to all ages, Recon Ortho also is knowledgeable and practiced in gender-specific knee reconstruction or replacement. Following our minimally invasive surgeries, patients leave with full knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, securely on the road to rapid recovery.

Care for Children and Adolescents

We provide pediatric orthopaedics, including specializations in sports medicine, scoliosis, spinal deformities, and other conditions, for children and adolescents. Children that play football, basketball, baseball, soccer, or other sports, frequently incur joint injuries, sprains, strains, fractures or dislocations that can heal or be repaired quickly if diagnosed promptly by a qualified surgeon. Bones and ligaments of the hand, wrist and elbow are particularly vulnerable on the playground. Recon Ortho’s surgical staff prides itself in caring for children and adolescent injuries in an age-sensitive and thorough manner. We also offer physical medicine and rehabilitation services, including physical therapy and occupational therapy to help patients restore motion and strength to tendons, ligaments and muscle. Our knowledgeable team of physical therapists specializes in its ability to provide exactly the right strengthening exercises for recovering patients. If thorough and rapid recovery—following a joint replacement, for instance, or a reconstruction—is to be achieved, a well-designed physical therapy plan must be put into place. Corrective Surgery

Reconstructive Orthopaedics provides corrective surgery of the foot, ankle, wrist, shoulder, elbow, and hand. We can repair cartilage and meniscuses, as well as ligaments, cuffs, and other injury prone joints and connectors. Back pain and disk herniation are two common ailments that can be easily cured through small corrective surgery. Many foot and knee injuries in runners are also found easily corrected by our team of orthopaedic surgeons’ practiced techniques. We are also well-versed in resurfacing techniques. One of our many areas of expertise is performing minimally invasive surgeries of the knee, shoulder, hip, hand, wrist, elbow, and spine. In the Cincinnati area and greater Ohio, Indiana, Northern Kentucky area, our staff’s experience and pride in excellent results remain unmatched.
