Dr. Matthew A. Langenderfer
Dr. Mathew A. Langenderfer graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the Univeristy of Virginia School of Medicine. A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, he completed his Orthopaedic training at the University of Cincinnati and joined Reconstructive Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Inc. in 2000. He and his wife, Dr. Rachel A. Langenderfer have four children.
Dr. Langenderfer has extensive experience in reconstruction of shoulders, hips and knees affected by sports injuries or degenerative diseases. He utilizes all of the latest technologies including arthroscopic repair of rotator cuffs, labral tears and shoulder instability patterns. He also has extensive experience in minimally invasive total hip and knee replacements, performing more than 200 total joint replacements per year.
Dr. Langenderfer is the first surgeon to perform Gender specific total knee replacements for women in the Cincinnati area.
Dr. Langenderfer provides Sports Medicine coverage for the Fairfield School District and serves as the Chief of Orthopaedics for Mercy South Hospital.
