Dr. Jonathan W. Bell

Jonathan Bell

Dr. Bell, president of Reconstructive Orthopaedics, graduated from Brown University and Boston University School of Medicine. He completed hi residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Bell served three years in the United States Navy Medical Corps where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

During his 16 years with Reconstructive Orthopaedics, he has maintained active priveleges at several area hospitals where he has served or chaired multiple committees, departments and boards. He has been active in the community volunteering his time with sports teams, lectures and talk shows.

Dr. Bell's specialty interests include arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder as well as minimally invasive reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee using computer navigation. He has extensive experience in fracture care and participates in orthopaedic trauma coverage for Tri-Health.

He and his wife Libby have three children with whom they enjoy tennis, cycling, boating, fishing, running and travel.
