At Reconstructive Orthopaedics, your physical therapy is coordinated and progress is closely monitored by your physician. Lines of communication between our patients, therapists, and physicians are always open. This approach has allowed us to develop customized treatment protocols which ensure you are receiving the most effective care available.
Meet the Directors
Chris Hill PT, MHS, OCS and Shaun Tubbs PT, ATC are the physical therapy directors at Reconstructive Orthopaedics. Chris and Shaun have a combined 27 years of experience in the rehabilitation field and look forward to working with you.
Shaun earned his B.S. degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Wilmington College in 1994. He went on to earn his B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Louisville in 1997. Shaun’s approach to your Physical Therapy needs involves using a variety of different therapeutic techniques to help you meet your personal goals and return you to an active life of work and play. Shaun serves as a Rehabilitation Consultant for the Cincinnati Bengals and has worked as an Athletic Trainer at Little Miami High School since 1994. Shaun resides in Maineville, Ohio with his wife Joy, who is also a Physical Therapist. They have 2 children, Elizabeth and Parker. Shaun enjoys spending time with his family, playing outdoors, and coaching his kid’s sports teams.
Chris received his physical therapy degree from Ohio University in 1991. He completed his Masters of Health Science from the Krannert School of Physical Therapy and the University of Indianapolis in 1998. Chris is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Chris enjoys working with all age groups and types of musculoskeletal injuries with special interests in sports injuries and manual therapy. Chris´ outside interests include sports and fly fishing. He and his wife, Mary, live in Milford.

Kristin Petrosky, PT
Kristin earned her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Xavier University in 2004 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga in 2007. Kristin also has advanced training in manual therapy. She received her Certification in Dry Needling in 2013 and her Certification in Spinal Manipulation in 2014 from the Spinal Manipulation Institute. Kristin has been working with Reconstructive Orthopaedics since 2007.
Brian Barnes, PT
Brian received his physical therapy degree from D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY. Brian has 18 years of experience as a physical therapist including working at ROI the last six years. Brian is married and has a 5 year-old daughter. Brian enjoys playing broomball, softball, and exercising.
Allison Brandt, PT
Allison was born and raised in Cincinnati and graduated from Turpin High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Miami University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Missouri State University. Allison has been working with Reconstructive Orthopaedics since 2009. For fun, she enjoys running, cooking and traveling.
Justin DeFilippi, PT
Justin has been with Reconstructive Orthopedics since 2011. He received his Bachelor's degree from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA and went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Justin is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He enjoys working with all musculoskeletal conditions and has particular interest in sports-related injuries and manual therapy. Justin has a wonderful family, including his parents, sister and brother, who are endlessly loving and supportive.
Kevin Schumpp, PT
Kevin grew up in West Chester, Ohio and attended Lakota West High School where he played football and lacrosse. He enrolled at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. Kevin received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton. Kevin has special interests in manual therapy and recently received his certification in dry needling from the Spinal Manipulation Institute. In the summer, Kevin enjoys boating at Lake Cumberland with his family.
Kristen Arveson, PT
Kristen earned both her B.S. in Exercise Science in 2010 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012 from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Kristen enjoys treating a variety of orthopaedic and sports-related injuries and is pursuing advanced certification to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys running, watching sports and spending time with friends and family.
